AMC Naturals proprietor Aidan McLaren-Caux has always been passionate about woodworking. It has allowed him to combine a love of nature (nurtured by his father) and the creativity he gets from his mother into a wonderful creative outlet. But it wasn’t until 2015 when he made his first custom piece (a hand-crafted end-grain cutting board from a donated piece of B.C. cherry wood) that he turned that passion into a full-time career. And in 2021, thousands of custom creations later, he’s never looked back. Today AMC Naturals produces (by hand) a wide variety of wood cutting boards, serving boards, kitchen accessories and custom furniture pieces.
